About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services is looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver to support a pleasant senior couple in Plano, TX 75075. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who enjoys building meaningful relationships and helping seniors remain active, engaged, and independent at home. The couple is living with dementia but remains independent and active in their daily routines. They may occasionally experience confusion, but they are generally oriented to self, place, and time. The ideal caregiver will be patient, encouraging, and attentive while providing the right level of support without taking away the clients' independence.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Professional and comfortable working with seniors
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable supporting individuals living with dementia
- Able to encourage independence while recognizing when additional support is needed
- A safe and reliable driver with a valid driver's license and dependable transportation

- Experienced in senior care and/or dementia care preferred
Responsibilities
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to doctor's appointments
- Transportation to social activities and outings with friends
- Daily meal and food preparation

Benefits
