About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, reliable Caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Great care starts with great caregivers—and great caregivers deserve a team that supports them.
Requirements
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Active automobile insurance required
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clock in and out and documentation
Nice To Haves
- Experience with seniors or disabled adults preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care
- Prepare meals
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and grocery shop
- Provide transportation to appointments
- Assist with daily living needs
- Complete care documentation using a smartphone
