About The Position

Valley of the Sun Homecare is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals for part-time caregiver roles in the Phoenix & Scottsdale areas. This is an opportunity for those who are retired or cutting back on work hours but still wish to make a difference in their community. Caregivers will provide companionship and support to local seniors, utilizing their life experience in a valued role. The company emphasizes flexibility in hours and client locations, with needs arising seven days a week for various shifts, including morning, day, evening, and 12-hour overnight shifts. Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Clear TB test or chest x-ray
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

• Availability and flexibility (driving distance, amount of shift hours, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors wherever they call home
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
• Follow individualized care plans often focused on dementia care
