About The Position

Valley of the Sun Homecare is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals for part-time caregiver roles in the Phoenix & Scottsdale Areas. This position offers flexible hours for those who want to stay active, connected, and engaged in their community while providing companionship and support to local seniors. The company values life experience and offers opportunities for individuals who are retired or cutting back on work hours but still wish to make a difference. The more availability and flexibility a caregiver offers (driving distance, shift hours), the better they can be matched with clients. Clients require care 7 days a week, with needs for morning, day, evening, and overnight (12-hour) shifts.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Clear TB test or chest x-ray
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors wherever they call home
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
• Follow individualized care plans often focused on dementia care
