About The Position

This position involves providing direct care to residents, ensuring their daily needs are met while maintaining a positive and supportive environment. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, transporting residents, and maintaining accurate records. The role also requires adherence to confidentiality, participation in facility surveys, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
18 years or older
Ability to lift 25 or more pounds
Basic computer skills
Basic knowledge of PCC
Good communication skills

CPR/First aid Certificate

Responsibilities

Answer call lights promptly.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout your shift.
Assist all residents in the activities of daily living according to their care plan (including but not limited to showering, dressing, toileting, etc.).
Accurately measure, record and report vital signs of residents.
Transport residents to and from meals and activities.
Assist with delivering meals to resident rooms as necessary.
Make beds as needed.
Deliver and put away laundry as needed.
Maintain confidentiality for all residents according to HIPPA Laws.
Create Progress notes regarding behavior, concerns, etc.
Follow up on and chart on all SPAs and behavior plans.
Report complaints or grievances made by residents to the Director of Nursing.
Participate and cooperate with any facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing Services.
Other duties as assigned.
