About The Position

TheKey is the largest provider of private pay in-home care for aging seniors in North America. As an Employer of Choice, our dedicated local teams provide exceptional support to our caregivers while they transform the lives of aging adults. We are currently hiring for all shifts, with full-time and part-time positions available. We have a high need for 4-6 hour shifts in an upscale facility in La Jolla. Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
At least 18 years of age
HCA Registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain this upon hire) including meeting state background requirements
Valid driver’s license, with access to a fully insured personal vehicle
TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
Must comply with state background screening requirements
Must be eligible to work in the US
Eligible for timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification

Responsibilities

Assist clients 1:1 with personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
Perform light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
Provide transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
Offer companionship: engage in games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support
