About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home assistance to aging adults. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• California HCA registration, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or a chest X-ray.
• Comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.
• Meet California fingerprint-identification requirements for employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
• Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other social and emotional activities.
