About The Position

Griswold Home Care for East Louisville is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. This role involves providing non-medical elderly care and home companionship, assisting seniors in living as fully and independently as possible in their own homes. Responsibilities include helping with laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding. The position also involves providing companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments, completing shift documentation, and communicating with the office regarding client needs and conditions.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Willingness to be trained.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of home care experience (caring for a loved one counts).
• CNA or SRNA certification (bonuses available).

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist seniors with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene, including bathing and feeding.
• Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
• Communicate routinely with the office about client condition and needs.
