About The Position
Join Our Compassionate Team of Caregivers! Have you ever served as a family caregiver? Do you have a heart for making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors within your community? At Almost Family, we believe that care giving is more than just a job—it's a calling. We are currently looking for compassionate, driven individuals to join our team in LaPine to provide essential personal care and heartfelt companionship directly in our clients' homes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A compassionate heart (ideally with one year of experience caring for seniors or those with disabilities).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist our clients with their daily routines, including gentle help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals.
- Keep a caring eye on our clients' well-being, documenting their progress and ensuring their health needs are always a top priority.
- Foster a warm, safe, and organized living space where clients feel secure and respected.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
- Lend a hand with light housekeeping and laundry to keep the home running smoothly.
- Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and important errands, helping them stay connected to their community.
