About The Position

TheKey is urgently hiring compassionate caregivers for an overnight 9 PM – 5 AM shift in Thousand Oaks. This role involves providing in-home care to individuals with autism and developmental differences. Caregivers will earn competitive pay rates of $20-$23 per hour and contribute to a meaningful career in a growing industry, helping to change the way the world ages.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• HCA Registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain this upon hire) including meeting state background requirements
• Valid driver’s license, with access to a fully insured personal vehicle
• TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and maintain a calm, patient presence

Nice To Haves

• Experience in caregiving, behavioral therapy, or working with individuals with autism

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision, comfort, and routine support
• Help clients with personal care, redirection, and sensory‑friendly engagement
• Document nightly activities and communicate any changes or concerns
• Promote independence and inclusion within the home environment
