About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, particularly CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are hiring for a specific client in Sequim, WA, requiring care from Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 am to 11:30 am. Our caregivers are essential to our mission of improving the lives of the clients we serve and upholding our high standards of care. We offer CEU training assistance and a competitive pay rate of $26.00/hour.

Requirements

• Active State License: CNA or HCA required.
• Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred.
• Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
• Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
• Must be reliable and dependable.

Nice To Haves

• Nurse Delegation: highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
• Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
• Following each client's Care Plan.
