About The Position

Right at Home Salt Lake is seeking compassionate caregivers for midweek shifts. The organization helps seniors and adults with disabilities live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Caregivers support clients’ quality of life by providing companionship and assistance with daily needs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dementia or behavioral care.
• Familiarity with hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and foster meaningful connections with clients.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and mobility.
• Prepare meals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
• Give medication reminders.

Benefits

• Competitive pay of $17.00–$18.25 per hour, based on experience, CNA certification, or Dementia Certification.
• Minimum $27.50 per shift.
• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate of $17.00 per hour.
• Raises after 60 days and annual reviews.
• Generous bonus after 60 days for employees working 20 or more hours per week who have completed required documents.
