About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Caregivers, HHAs, PCAs, CNAs, and Homemakers to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes throughout Salem, Windham, Nashua, and surrounding areas. We offer flexible scheduling, short shifts, and opportunities to pick up additional hours. No experience? No problem. Free training is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Dependable, compassionate people who genuinely enjoy helping others
- Caregiving, HHA, PCA, CNA, LNA, or homemaker experience, preferred but not always required
- Reliable and responsible
- Good communication skills
- Enjoy working with seniors
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Reliable transportation when required for the assigned client
- Willing to train the right person with no experience
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and companionship
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living
- Helping with mobility
- Preparing meals and providing light housekeeping
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with errands and transportation when needed
- Encouraging independence and maintaining each client's dignity
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or behavior
- Following the client's care plan and documenting care as required
