About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring a caregiver to provide in-home support to seniors in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The position is intended for weekend work, with full 12-hour daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The shift may be split into morning and afternoon blocks, and other shifts may be available to pick up. The role is part-time, with the possibility of additional hours if desired. Caregivers may build steady hours with one or two consistent clients while helping clients remain safe and comfortable at home.

Requirements

At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
Family caregiving experience is accepted.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Run errands for clients.
Perform light housekeeping.
Transport clients.
Provide personal care.
Prepare meals.
