About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is a trusted home-care agency serving seniors across Worcester County. Our mission is to help elderly clients live with dignity, comfort, and independence in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently expanding our caregiving team across multiple communities and are looking for compassionate, dependable people to join us. We are seeking dedicated caregivers and home health aides to provide exceptional in-home care to seniors in Worcester, Auburn, Webster, Millbury, Leicester, Spencer, and Oxford, MA. Whether you are an experienced caregiver or someone who is passionate about helping others and looking for a new career path, we welcome you to apply.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
Nice To Haves
- Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required - we provide training
- HHA or CNA certification is a plus, but not required - free HHA training and certification available for qualifying candidates
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments when needed
- Create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for seniors at home
