About The Position

Cornerstone of Oak Creek is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide support and personal care to residents. The role includes helping residents with daily needs, supporting their safety and well-being, and maintaining accurate care records. Caregivers follow care plans, safety procedures, and company policies while contributing to an inclusive and supportive community for residents and team members.

The position is listed as 2nd Shift, with hours of 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Availability is required every other weekend and holiday.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward seniors.
• Ability to lift and move safely as required.
• Availability to work 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday.
• Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare.
• CBRF certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
