About The Position

Cornerstone of Oak Creek is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personal care and support to residents. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, medication administration as directed, mobility and transfers, and social and recreational engagement. Caregivers monitor residents’ health, communicate changes to appropriate staff, maintain care records, and perform light housekeeping. The position works 1st shift, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward seniors.
• Ability to lift and move safely as required.
• Availability to work 1st shift hours (7 a.m.–3 p.m.), including every other weekend and holiday.
• Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare.
• CBRF certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
