About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join their team in the Portland, Oregon area. This is a full-time position requiring 32 hours of work, Monday through Friday. The role involves hands-on assistance for clients, and caregivers must be over the age of 21. Paid training is available if needed.

Requirements

• Caregiver with at least two years of caregiver professional experience, highly preferred.
• Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Proof of current auto insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must be over the age of 21.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
• Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
• Following each client's Care Plan.
