About The Position

Amada Senior Care is actively hiring dedicated caregivers in Galveston, Texas, and we're looking for compassionate professionals who are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and veterans. As a caregiver, you'll provide non-medical, in-home support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients
• Must be willing to travel within a 20–25-mile radius
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility, errands, and appointments
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Observing and reporting changes in condition
• Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
