About The Position

Amada Senior Care is looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers to join their team. As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical, in-home support to help clients maintain their independence and quality of life. This role involves providing companionship, assisting with personal care, medication reminders, errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and observing/reporting changes in client conditions. The company emphasizes making a difference in seniors' and veterans' lives by enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of previous caregiving experience
Reliable transportation
Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius and surrounding areas
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Comfortable working with both male and female clients

Nice To Haves

Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Providing medication reminders
Assisting with mobility, errands, and appointments
Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
Observing and reporting changes in clients' conditions
Encouraging independence and supporting daily routines
