About The Position

Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking an experienced caregiver to provide in-home support to a family in Lake Forest. The role includes companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. The position offers weekday and weekend shifts, including morning and daytime shifts, with an immediate start. Pay is $19.50–$22.00 per hour, and hours over 40 per week and holiday hours are paid at time and a half.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort helping both male and female clients.
• Experience assisting with personal care.
• No restrictions concerning the type of care provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through conversation, games, and watching TV with clients.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals.
