About The Position

This role involves providing personalized support with daily living activities, promoting independence while ensuring safety and dignity, assisting with medication (for Level 3 caregivers), supporting residents with communication/behavioral needs (for Level 4 caregivers), following infection control procedures, documenting care activities, and responding quickly and appropriately to emergencies. Caregiver levels include Level 1 – General Support (Companionship & safety monitoring), Level 2 – Personal Care (Hands-on ADL support), Level 3 – Medication Technician (Assists with medications & documentation), and Level 4 – Behavior Support Specialist (Behavioral support & de-escalation).

Requirements

At least 18 years old
TB clearance & health screening (LIC 503)
Fingerprinting & background clearance (LIC 508)
First Aid & CPR certification (training available)
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. & assist with transfers
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a comprehensive reference check.

Nice To Haves

Experience in senior care preferred, but training provided

Responsibilities

Provide personalized support with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, meals).
Promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity.
Assist with medication (for Level 3 caregivers).
Support residents with communication/behavioral needs (for Level 4 caregivers).
Follow infection control procedures and document care activities.
Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.
