Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in their home. This role focuses on providing personal care and daily living assistance while ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort in a home environment. Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Experience with Hoyer lift and transfers is a plus (training may be provided)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
• Physically able to assist with transfer-related tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene support
• Provide assistance with transfers, including use of a Hoyer lift
• Support client who uses a wheelchair with mobility needs
• Assist with meal preparation
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Provide medication reminders
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Provide companionship and supportive care
