About The Position
Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client with behavioral health support needs. This role requires patience, strong communication, and the ability to provide consistent cueing and assistance with daily living activities in a safe and respectful environment.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Ability to safely assist with mobility and physical support needs
- Patient, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to follow a care plan and provide consistent support and cueing
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance and daily living support
- Offer consistent cueing and supervision throughout care tasks
- Assist with mobility support and safe transfers as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Support laundry (off-site laundry duties)
- Assist with grocery shopping and errands
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive home environment
