About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors in maintaining their independence and quality of life in Beverly, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Rockport, Topsfield, Wenham, and additional areas. Opportunities are available for short and long hours, with part-time to full-time schedules and daytime, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts. Flexible scheduling includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and block shifts. Daily pay is available, and applicants may be able to start the same week. Free Home Health Aide training and certification are available. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, compassion, and dedication to making a difference.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at a conversational level.
- Dependable transportation to reach client locations.
- Willingness to follow health and safety standards.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a caregiver; applicants who are just starting are also welcome.
- Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) background.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and help with errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
