About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors in maintaining their independence and quality of life in Rockport and surrounding Massachusetts communities. Opportunities are available for short or long hours, with part-time to full-time work and daytime, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts. Scheduling is flexible, and the posting says candidates may be able to start this week and receive daily pay. Applicants may be experienced or new to caregiving; free Home Health Aide training and certification are available. Roles include Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Assistants (PCA), and Homemakers.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at a conversational level.
- Dependable transportation to reach client locations.
- Willingness to follow health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and help with errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Follow health and safety standards.
