Weekend Dayshift Caregiver Needed - Fort Worth
About The Position
Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for a client. This role is ideal for someone who values consistency, continuity of care, and building strong client relationships. The caregiver will provide care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Reliable availability for all three days is required. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of senior caregiving experience and experience or comfort working with Dementia or Alzheimer’s clients. The caregiver must be able to lift at least 25 lbs, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage behaviors associated with dementia are essential.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of senior caregiving experience (agency, facility, or private client).
- Experience or comfort working with Dementia or Alzheimer’s clients is required.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs as needed.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
- Good communicator via phone or email for scheduling, updates, and emergencies.
- Honest, dependable, respectful of dignity and privacy.
- Confident in managing behaviors associated with dementia, using redirection techniques, and maintaining a calm and supportive environment.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification preferred but not required.
