About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to provide quality in-home care to seniors in Westfield, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. Opportunities are available for Homemakers, Personal Care Assistants (PCs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Applicants may have caregiving experience or be looking to begin a caregiving career; free training opportunities are available to qualified applicants who do not yet have HHA or CNA certification. Positions are available full-time and part-time, with flexible scheduling, day and overnight shifts, and shifts of 8 to 12 hours depending on the assignment. Caregivers receive support from a dedicated office team and may have opportunities to grow their caregiving skills. Hiring communities include Westfield, Southwick, Russell, Huntington, Southampton, Westhampton, Montgomery, Blandford, and nearby towns.
Requirements
- Compassion, dependability, and willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience.
- HHA or CNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with personal care and daily living activities.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Do laundry and help maintain a safe home environment.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist clients with mobility.
- Report changes in a client's condition or well-being.
