About The Position
Amada Senior Care is actively hiring compassionate and dependable caregivers in Houston, TX, for immediate openings. This role offers part-time employment with flexible scheduling and in-office orientation. Caregivers will provide meaningful, non-medical in-home support to seniors and veterans, enabling them to live safely and independently in their homes. The position requires willingness to travel to surrounding areas within a 20-mile radius. Every shift is an opportunity to brighten someone's day, provide comfort, and make a significant impact.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working with both male and female clients
- Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius and surrounding areas
- A caring, dependable, and professional attitude
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing medication reminders
- Helping with mobility, errands, and appointments
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in clients' conditions
- Encouraging independence and supporting everyday routines
