About The Position
Join the KFI Team in Lincoln! KFI is a Maine-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living full, independent lives within their communities. We are seeking a compassionate, friendly, patient, and outgoing person to support Ivan, an individual who enjoys old music, trains, shopping, and road trips. The ideal candidate will be reliable, enjoy building connections, share some of Ivan's interests, possess good listening skills, be curious, and comfortable with silence. This role focuses on engaging Ivan in conversations, maintaining friendships, making community connections, modeling healthy boundaries, and supporting his hobbies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Valid Maine Driver’s License (Required)
- A Registered and Insured Vehicle (Required)
- Evening and weekend availability
