About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio. This role involves assisting elderly clients with daily life activities in their homes, including bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. It is a physical role requiring caregivers to be on their feet most of the day and assist clients with mobility. Caregivers do not administer medication or perform medical tasks. The company emphasizes that this is more than a job; it's a calling for individuals who genuinely care about the elderly community and are reliable. The position requires a commitment to showing up for clients who depend on this assistance. Haven Home Care offers various pathways to qualify for the role, including those with an STNA license, HHA certificate, relevant experience, or no prior experience through free training. The company matches caregivers with clients based on specified limits such as travel distance, pets, smoking, and availability, ensuring a good fit. Caregivers typically work with 2-4 regular clients per week, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts. Shifts can range from 2-8 hours depending on client needs. Flexibility in scheduling is based on the days and times agreed upon, not on last-minute cancellations. Federal law requires verification of identity and work authorization.
