About The Position

BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley & Hudson is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, or Home Health Aides for rewarding work providing one-on-one care to seniors and adults who wish to remain safely in their homes. We are currently hiring dependable caregivers for weekend morning and evening shifts, with additional weekday opportunities available.

Requirements

Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
Minimum of one year of caregiving experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED
Current CPR certification
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality

Nice To Haves

Experience in roles such as Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Personal Care Aide, Resident Assistant, Direct Support Professional (DSP), or Companion Caregiver.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safety supervision
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
Help with light household tasks and meal preparation as needed
Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing
Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity and independence
