About The Position

BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley & Hudson is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, or Home Health Aides for rewarding work with a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults who want to remain safely in their homes. Caregivers will provide one-on-one care while being supported by a team that truly values and appreciates its caregivers. The company is currently hiring dependable caregivers for weekend morning and evening shifts, with additional weekday opportunities available. This position serves clients throughout Washington County and St. Croix County and requires local travel.

Requirements

  • Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
  • Minimum of one year of caregiving experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current CPR certification
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
  • Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safety supervision
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
  • Help with light household tasks and meal preparation as needed
  • Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing
  • Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity and independence
