About The Position

The Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers typically work with elderly or disabled individuals in a home setting. This specific role involves companion care for a widower with Parkinson's on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1pm to 5pm. A male caregiver is preferred.

Requirements

• Previous caregiver experience preferred
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Adherence to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a drivers license and able to reliably commute to the Greater Denver Area.
• Colorado residents only.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting
• Shopping trips & light housekeeping duties, meal prep
• Medication Reminders
• Ability to act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Clear communication with clients, family members, and team members
