Requirements

Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation every single day
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Supportive and compassionate
Must have 2 years of caregiving experience

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment

Responsibilities

Provide in-home companionship to elderly clients
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
Remind clients to take prescribed medication
Assist with mobility in and around the home and outside the home, including doctor’s appointments, walks, and other activities
Plan and prepare meals
Complete client shopping or accompany clients while they shop
Perform basic housekeeping duties
Report any unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
Offer activities that are essential for daily living
