About The Position
24 Hour Home Care is seeking empathetic and attentive caregivers to provide support to clients of all ages in their homes. The company has been a trusted in-home care provider for over 15 years, specializing in personalized caregiving services for individuals of all ages and those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role involves providing top-notch care in the comfort of clients' homes, supporting them with various needs and enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements
- Two Caregiving References: Provide contact information for two references who can attest to your caregiving experience.
- Valid ID: Ensure your identification documents comply with I-9 requirements.
- Negative TB Test: Provide proof of a negative TB test. If needed, we cover the cost for eligible candidates.
- Reliable Commute: Preferred: Demonstrate a reliable means of commuting to work or have plans to relocate before your start date.

- Self-Starter: Demonstrates initiative and the ability to anticipate client needs without constant supervision. Shows a proactive approach to solving problems and improving the client's well-being.
- Empathetic and Compassionate: Shows genuine concern for the client's well-being and provides care with kindness and respect.
- Adaptable: Able to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers)
- Assist with meal preparation
- Offer companionship
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed
- Assist with errands and transportation
