Caregiver for 4p-12a shift and 12a-8a (does include weekends)

About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to support clients with a range of needs. The role involves assisting elderly clients and people recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents with daily living, personal care, mobility, meals, shopping, and housekeeping. Caregivers must report unusual incidents and respond promptly and responsibly to emergencies. The position includes 4 p.m.–12 a.m. and 12 a.m.–8 a.m. shifts, including weekends. Requirements

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Availability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
At least one year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
Supportive and compassionate approach.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
Take pride in providing high-quality care.
Hoyer lift experience specific to the client.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance, including help with showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
Help clients with mobility around the home and outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Plan and prepare meals.
Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while shopping.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Report unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Assist clients with meals and other activities essential to daily living, including serving food when necessary.
