About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are currently hiring for a caregiver position in Sequim, WA, to serve a specific client. This role involves providing comprehensive care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and adhering to client-specific Care Plans. We offer CEU training assistance and a supportive work environment.
Requirements
- Active State License: CNA or HCA required
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
- Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
- Must be reliable and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Delegation: highly preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) - Bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, feeding
- Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) - Shopping, housekeeping, medication management, meal preparation
- Following each client's Care Plan
