About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are hiring a caregiver for a client in Sequim, WA. The client requires care on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. We offer a pay rate of $26.50 per hour and provide CEU training assistance.
Requirements
- Active State License: CNA or HCA required
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
- Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
- Must be reliable and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Delegation: highly preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
- Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Following each client's Care Plan.
