About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous professional caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, or a skilled nursing facility required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.

Nice To Haves

• HHA or CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning while following safe care practices.
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance as needed.
• Provide medication reminders according to each client’s care plan; this is a non-clinical role.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and daily activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical, emotional, or behavioral condition to the office team.
• Follow individualized care plans, company policies, and safety procedures.
