About The Position

Valley of the Sun Homecare is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers in Tempe, South Scottsdale, and Phoenix. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate school or personal needs, providing real-world healthcare experience. Caregivers will assist seniors with daily living activities, offer companionship, help with household tasks, and provide transportation. Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Clear TB test or chest x-ray
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Studying nursing, healthcare, social work, or psychology

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors wherever they call home
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
• Follow individualized care plans often focused on dementia care
