About The Position
Valley of the Sun Homecare is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers in Tempe, South Scottsdale, and Phoenix for part-time, flexible work. This role offers real-world healthcare experience, ideal for students in nursing, healthcare, social work, or psychology, or for anyone passionate about helping seniors. Caregivers will provide one-on-one care, assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, help with meal preparation and light housekeeping, assist with transportation, and follow individualized care plans, often focused on dementia care. Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle
- CPR & First Aid certification
- Clear TB test or chest x-ray
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening

- Studying nursing, healthcare, social work, or psychology
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care for seniors wherever they call home
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
- Follow individualized care plans often focused on dementia care
