Urgently Hiring: Weekday Caregiver
About The Position
Visiting Angels of Main Line is urgently hiring weekday caregivers. We are looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who are ready to make a difference every day. We have shifts available throughout the Main Line area, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Whether you are seeking consistent hours, additional hours, or a flexible schedule, we have opportunities for you. The role involves providing quality non-medical home care, including personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), companionship and emotional support, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and running errands. Caregivers are expected to communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team, and to be punctual and dependable for scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on caregiving experience preferred
- Senior care experience preferred
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation preferred
- Current auto insurance
- Ability to complete required health screenings
- Successful background, reference & drug screening
- All applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish, Russian or Italian bilingual skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Prepare meals, do grocery shopping, and run errands.
- Deliver quality non-medical home care.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team.
- Arrive on time and be dependable for scheduled shifts.
