About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home services to a client in the local Claremore area. Caregivers help patients remain independent and safe in their homes by assisting with personal care, daily activities, meals, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship. Prior experience is not required; paid in-office initial training and ongoing training are offered. Pay is $12.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience, with an additional $1–$4 per hour for select shifts. Daily Pay is available. The role offers flexible scheduling and a friendly, supportive work atmosphere. The local Home Helpers agency is an independently owned and operated franchise. Hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check as required by state requirements.
Prior caregiving experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal-preparation areas, and helping patients eat as needed.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including completing laundry at a laundromat if needed.
Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
Assist with activities of daily living, shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
Provide companionship.
Be reliable, dependable, rarely absent, and punctual.
