About The Position

The Caregiver supports residents of The Kensington, an Agemark Senior Living community in Hastings, Nebraska, during evening shifts. The role focuses on assisting with daily living while promoting residents’ independence, well-being, dignity, and engagement. Caregivers build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members and contribute to a positive, supportive workplace guided by Agemark’s EPIC ACTS values: Excellence, Personal Investment, Celebration, Accountability, Compassion, and Team Spirit. Training is provided; prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required. The schedule is part-time, evenings, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals, and other personal needs.
• Encourage residents to remain active and involved in their daily routines.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and promptly report concerns or changes in condition.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Engage residents in activities and conversations to make each day special.
• Provide dependable support with patience, respect, and compassion.
