About The Position

We are hiring experienced, confident Care Professionals in St. George with current priority needs during 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 5:00 PM–9:00 PM, including weekends. We offer competitive pay for this role, $18/hr weekday hours and $19/hr weekends. We’re looking for caregivers who already have hands-on experience with transfers, wheelchair mobility, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and dressing - and who understand that in caregiving, a client’s needs, schedule, and level of support can change over time. If you’re skilled, dependable, comfortable with changing care needs, and want to make a meaningful difference for clients who need significant support, we want to meet you. This is hands-on caregiving—not a companionship-only opportunity. Depending on the client and shift, care may include: Transfers and wheelchair mobility assistance, Toileting, brief changes, and incontinence care, Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care, Meal preparation and meal support, Medication reminders, Light housekeeping, Companionship and relationship-based care, Observing, documenting, and communicating changes in condition. Some current care routines require two Care Pros working together for transfers, making punctuality, communication, and teamwork especially important.

Requirements

  • Hands-on caregiving experience
  • Experience with transfers and mobility assistance
  • Comfortable with toileting and incontinence care
  • Ability to provide bathing and dressing assistance
  • Ability to stay calm when a client's abilities or care needs change
  • Understanding that schedules may evolve as client needs change
  • Dependable and communicate early when something affects your availability
  • Ability to follow established care plans and safety procedures
  • Ability to notice and report changes rather than simply completing tasks
  • Enjoy building relationships with the people you serve
  • Willingness to continue working in caregiving as individual assignments change
