About The Position
Interim HealthCare of Las Cruces, NM is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Willingness to undergo training and certifications as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in client conditions to supervisory staff
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Assist with mobility and transfers safely
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
