About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking a phenomenal caregiver for a rewarding role that offers 12-hour shifts. This position involves providing both personal and companion care to older adults, supporting their ability to maintain autonomy with compassion, patience, and understanding.

Requirements

• Strong Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Skills
• Patience, a sense of humor, and a sincere desire to be of service to older adults
• Ability to pass a background check including Criminal Background and motor vehicle history review.
• Ability to provide both personal and companion care
• Ability to be compassionate, patient, and understanding while supporting older adults ability to be autonomous
• A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable automobile
• Dementia and Alzheimer experience

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and companion care to older adults.
• Support older adults' ability to be autonomous with compassion, patience, and understanding.
• Work 12-hour shifts, including rotating night shifts.
