About The Position

Clarity Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with varying abilities, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives. Clarity Care is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality care with respect and integrity. No prior experience or certifications are required, and hiring is immediate. The starting pay is up to $18/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities

Provides direct care support to members with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene, as outlined by the individual service plan.
Comfortable using mobility devices and practicing safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
Teaches and guides members in achieving their hopes, dreams, goals, and objectives through self-direction, decision-making, and goal-setting.
Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming group home by performing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, making beds, and changing linens.
Performs laundry duties.
Prepares and serves meals by following general nutritional guidelines, menus, and individual dietary restrictions, needs, and preferences.
Assists, escorts, and provides physical and other types of assistance needed by members during social and recreational activities.
