Caregiver
About The Position
AbaCares Services is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. This position offers a competitive rate and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship and emotional support, monitoring and reporting changes in client's health status, and following care plans to ensure client safety. Specific duties include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and assistance with lifting/transferring up to 90lbs. The schedule is Monday to Sunday from 2pm-8pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 9am-2pm.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant, or similar role.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and follow care plans accurately.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to perform the position's duties, including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
